The list of positive traits that Ahmir "Questlove" Khalib Thompson (he passed me at an event in NY where he DJed so naturally I'm on a government name basis with the man) posses is endless. The man is an entrepreneur, a professor, a musical genius and historian, and now an author of the much anticipated book Mo' Meta Blues.
I have yet to get my hands on the book, I refuse to buy this on iTunes but as soon as I'm done reading "Daring Greatly" for my book club you better believe I won't be taking my hands off of it.
For those unfamiliar to the referenced title of the book, think Spike Lee's 1990 film titled Mo' Better Blues. The song performed in the movie is actually written and composed by Branford Marsalis, of the same title - one of my favorite jazz songs.
