Oddisee

I don't know where to begin when I describe my fascination, respect, and slightly unhealthy obsession with Oddisee. I wasn't his first fan by any means. When I first heard of him, I didn't give him a chance. Why? I'm really not sure. Maybe I wasn't ready to be inspired by his music. Maybe I wasn't his "type" of listener. Maybe. When I finally gave "People Hear What They See" a fighting chance my in ranking list, I was, simply mesmerized. The motivating lyrics instantly captured my attention. The jazz/soul/boom bap-atic melodies are raw and blend perfectly with the story and the chorus. This album is easily in my top 5 categories of all time. I hope it ends up in your top 5 as well.
